Promoting Indian Classical Music

Aamad Pratishthan is a charitable trust formed for the purpose of offering a platform to talented upcoming artistes, and to propmote Indian classical music.

The trust has been formed with the blessings of Pt. Sadanand Naimpalli, by his disciples. Aamad Pratishthan was founded in February 2007 as a registered charitable trust [Regn.No. E-23923 (MUM)/09.02.2007].

The word "Aamad" has been taken from the Persian word meaning 'entry'; the first introduction of spoken rhythmic pattern or bol into the Kathak performance.

The trust is supported by several leading corporates and is patronised by many eminent personalities from the field of Indian music.

The trust also provides financial assistance and free music tuition to deserving students.

Donations to Aamad Pratishthan are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80-G w.e.f. July 2007.
